Erythras International University has signed partnership agreements with a consortium of employers across banking, telecommunications and agribusiness to co-design skills bootcamps that feed directly into internship pipelines. The first cohort — Data Analytics for Business — begins in March 2027 and combines an eight-week virtual curriculum with employer-set capstone briefs.
Employer partners will sit on EIU's curriculum advisory boards, guest-lecture in live virtual classrooms, and offer priority interviews to bootcamp graduates who complete their capstones with distinction. The programme forms part of EIU's broader strategy to keep ODEL education welded to labour-market demand.
"We are not training for exams alone," said Dr. Amanuel Girma, Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management. "We are training for the Monday morning after graduation."
